NAWIC members are invited to join us with RICS for a week-long celebration of the remarkable
women shaping the construction industry at our “The Image of Women in Construction” exhibition.
In an industry often seen as male-dominated, photographer Morley von Sternberg and NAWIC
London & South East have united to challenge outdated perceptions with a groundbreaking
initiative: The Image of Women in Construction.
Shattering Stereotypes
This visionary project aims to illuminate the diverse and dynamic landscape of women working in the
built environment. Through a series of captivating photographs, the campaign showcases the wide
array of roles women play across the construction industry, highlighting their strength, dedication,
and unique stories.
Celebrating Women in Construction
“The Image of Women in Construction” goes beyond mere visibility; it celebrates women in
construction on their own terms. By showcasing the achievements and contributions of these
remarkable individuals, the project seeks to inspire, empower, and uplift.
Inspiring the Next Generation
One of the key objectives of this initiative is to inspire the next generation of female leaders in
construction. By presenting a diverse range of women excelling in various roles within the industry,
the project aims to dismantle barriers and ignite the aspirations of young girls and women. The
ultimate goal is to empower them to envision themselves in these influential positions, guided by
the inspiring examples set by these role models.
