Visit to Republic

How collaboration between a visionary developer and an architect transformed a neglected site on the fringe of the city into a hub for future industries.

Following sold-out building tours around Bloomberg HQ and LSE this summer and due to increased interest, NAWIC committee is working to open the doors of the most interesting buildings for you.

On October, 24th, you are invited by Trilogy Real Estate and Studio RHE to visit the recently completed development of Republic.

You will have an opportunity to learn about a transformation of the East India Estate and a creation of a 650,000 sqft high-quality, low-cost workspace with a wide range of amenities and extensive public space. Trilogy have created a radically transformed workplace experience specifically designed to appeal to the world’s fastest-growing and dynamic businesses.

Studio RHE has created a 10-storey engineered timber atrium at the heart of Import building featuring multiple balconies, with cross-laminated timber frames that cantilever into the central space.

Robert Wolstenholme (Trilogy) and Richard Hywel Evans (Studio RHE) will talk us through the process from site purchase, development stages, design brief, inspirations and challenges, and down to technical details.

We start with a presentation and continue with a tour inside and around the building, and will finish with a networking session on the top floor with a magnificent view over East London.

This event is open for all, but places are limited, so book your place early via Eventbrite now.

Any questions, please send them to event@nawic.london
