DESCRIPTION:Inviting NAWIC members and students to site visit to The Rushgroves in Hendon constructed by LQ.    The Rushgroves is a stunning mixed tenure development of 387 contemporary new homes a cross 11 blocks\, with studio apartments to 4 bedroom homes designed by the Architect Cullinan Studio.    Architecturally\, the design of the development has been influenced by the nearby Welsh Harp Reservoir. Taking its influence from this natural habitat\, the connecting walkways through the development meander in a way that replicate the route of a stream\, with the appearance of the apartment building facades featuring external green materials to mimic floating reed beds and natural accents.    Construction started in late 2016 with first homes available in early 2019 with practical completion in 2020.    (Remember proceedings from site visits go towards NAWIC Educational fund)
