DESCRIPTION:Thank you very much for signing up to be part of NAWIC Next Generation Construction Ambassadors team. With your help we can reach even more young people and show them the endless opportunities within construction and how as an industry we can enrich communities and through team work produce amazing places.    Some of you have experience in talking to schools and young people but we appreciate that many others haven’t had the opportunity to do something like that before. To help you on the journey\, and kick-off our collaboration with a bang\, we have teamed up with Kathryn Lennon-Johnson from BESS (Built Environment Skills in Schools) to run a workshop that can equip you with some basic knowledge on how you can speak to the younger people. The main principles that will be covered are:     	Storytelling and making your message personal   	Understanding Children's situations - planning and shaping your message accordingly   	The questions you'll need to answer   	The national Careers Strategy and requirements for schools   	Some of the great organisations who can help you into schools    This workshop will get us all together and hopefully it will be the start of many more inspiring actions to come.
