DESCRIPTION:Nawic Seminar Sessions    Business Model Canvas:    A Business Model Canvas is a visual way of documenting your business model. It is a chart with elements describing your business’s value proposition\, infrastructure\, customers\, and finances.    A must for aspiring business owners as well as for those who are looking to improve an existing business\, this workshop takes you step by step through using the Business Model Canvas as a tool for strategising\, innovating and clarifying your business model.    We start our own businesses\, not because we are great at business\, but because we are good at what we do and need the flexibility or autonomy to work the way we want to. It is said that about 60% of architects don’t have a business plan and this might extend to a lot of small business owners!    Our 2018 seminar sessions start with a series of collaborations with Karen Fugle of SleepingGiant consulting. Karen has over 20 years in the Architectural\, Engineering &amp\; Construction industry. She is an accredited Associate Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation (ICF)\, a member of the National Council of Psychotherapists (NCP) and a certified facilitator of LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method and materials. Karen is also an affiliate member of the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and a core-team member of Women in BIM (WIB).
