DESCRIPTION:This week\, our Chair Cristina Lanz Azcarate will be hosts at the Australian-based Instagram account for Parlour from Monday the 5th of October.    The group is fully committed to supporting female presence in the architectural profession and Cristina will be joining their endeavour by sharing a selection of the portraits of Architects from our collaboration with photographer Morley von Sternberg\, "The Image of Women in Construction" which Morley and she have curated.    Morley took the images between 2016 and 2018 (we are no longer photographing) and NAWIC London and South East have been editing and streamlining the work to create a source of insight and inspiration to help students find their way to access the many roles and opportunities available within our industry by showing them the women who work on those roles and telling them how they got there.    By looking into the posts Cristina and Morley have curated for Parlour\, one will realise that even within architecture there is a very wide range of roles and interests.    Furthermore\, we want to use Parlour's international platform to call for more diversity by showing more diversity. We know this is vital to ensure that we attract the diversity we need to successfully deliver the inclusive Built Environment societies need to thrive.
