Join The Next 100 Years for a compelling evening of insight and celebration\, presented in collaboration with the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) and the Contemporary Art Society.    This March marks the tenth anniversary of a defining moment for London and for public representation: the unveiling of Gillian Wearing’s statue of suffragist Millicent Fawcett in Parliament Square. This event established the first monument to a woman to stand among the politicians in that iconic location.    Our exclusive panel discussion will delve into the remarkable journey behind this landmark commission. You will hear firsthand about the artistic\, architectural\, and logistical complexities of placing a permanent work of art at the very heart of British democracy. This is a unique opportunity to understand how a powerful vision was translated into a lasting piece of our national history.    Featured Speakers:    Dana Denis-Smith OBE: Founder of The Next 100 Years campaign\, Obelisks\, Spark21\, and The First 100 Years project.    Jordan Kaplan\, Senior Art Producer\, CAS Consultancy: Jordan managed the delivery of the Millicent Fawcett statue. With over 20 years’ experience\, she specialises in realising major public realm projects with leading contemporary artists.    Tony Dyson\, Architect: Tony was the architect involved in the realisation of the statue project in Parliament Square.    Key Logistics &amp\; Access Information:    Date &amp\; Time: Thursday\, 26 March 2026\, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.    Venue: Terrace Pavilion\, House of Commons\, London\, SW1A 0AA.    Security: All attendees must bring a valid government-issued photo ID (a passport or driving licence) that matches the name on their ticket.
