Our region is growing exponentially and there is a lot of work to do for the few of us in the committee, hence we need your help!
Last week, in a rare rainy day, we hosted our last event of the summer, the August NAWIC Business Breakfast.
Mandy Rutter is a psychologist and counsellor, who specialises in improving the mental heath of employees, managers, and Senior Leaders within all areas of the workforce.
Founding Director of Archimake, Cheryl is a fully qualified practising RIBA chartered architect, who specialises in sustainable design and was featured on BBC TV Tricks of the Trade and also Channel 4 with Phil Spencer Secret Agent.
Danna Walker is an architect and founder of Built By Us, a social enterprise which is on a mission to diversify the construction sector. Her career spans over 25 years in the construction and built environment sector and has encompassed a variety of roles from shop floor electrician, to Architect and strategic projects lead at the Construction Industry Council.
Annie Bowman, is the creator of Hoydens Workwear Ltd, a start up in the very early stages of life. After having been a painter and decorator for 10 years, working long hours in trousers that didn’t fit properly, Annie decided to do something about it. Working in areas dominated by men, women need to be especially careful to look professional and smart so that they stand out for their competency and not their gender.
