Continue readingEarlier in the week, Personal Branding Consultant and fellow committee member at National Association of Women In Construction (NAWIC) London & South East Beatrice Ronchetti delivered a brilliant workshop titled “Linkedin 101” focused on the role that LinkedIn can play in elevating one’s profile across their sector to reach out to their desired audiences.
The workshop, hosted at Avison Young, started with a reminder of the importance of building a Personal Brand that reflect us as individuals followed by a quiz aimed at positioning LinkedIn as the tool to help us do so.

The menu that Juan Cabarcos and his team designed for the event was delicious (scroll to see some of the dishes) and their level of accommodation for dietary requirements of our group worth of our admiration.
In January one of our committee members, Karen, ran a group CV workshop over coffee and pastries at RIBA Portland Place. This was in collaboration with Architects for Change to share knowledge and team brainstorm best practices on CV’s, portfolio and overall job applications for the London careers market.

In March, our team created a private Community hub for our members to remain connected during the lock-down . We wanted to provide a safe place to share information and discuss any challenges in order to help each other.
