I would have loved to have learned of George Floyd’s life in a completely different manner. Not as an epilogue written by others but as a story narrated in the first person. A story he could have chosen to tell in order to reflect his true self, not one told by or defined by the actions of others.
It has taken me a while to share my thoughts using the platform that being the Chair of NAWIC London and South East gives me because I realise that while it is an honour to be in this position, the role gives me a responsibility to do so in a way which is both honest and useful to justify my use of space and to help build collective awareness.

RICH THINKING FOR UNCERTAIN TIMES

Maria talked about the importance of knowing yourself, your values, any limiting beliefs that are holding you back and the difference having a sense of purpose and vision will make to your life.
